SUMMARY:NRW 22nd Annual Toy Drive Benefitting The Tennessee National Guard Youth Program
DESCRIPTION:NRW Annual Toy Drive for the Tennessee National Guard Youth Program\nTOYS FOR CHILDREN OF TENNESSEE SOLDIERS: December 2026 marks the 22nd year that the Nashville Republican Women (NRW) have collected toys and other items for the Children of Tennessee Soldiers as our “Caring for America” project.  For the first two or three years\, our donations were delivered to Fort Campbell.  Since that time\, annual contributions are given to the Tennessee National Guard (TNNG) Youth Program for distribution to Tennessee National Guard\, and Army/Navy/Air Force Reserve Units that have identified children in need. Tennessee is one of the most active states with regard to actual deployment. Many of these military members are from rural areas throughout Tennessee.  Our program significantly eases the financial burden of our service members.  Because of these donations\, children wake up to gifts under the tree that would not have otherwise been there.\nWe NEED YOUR HELP to make the 2025 Toy Drive a success.  This year we are taking monetary donations only and a check will be presented to the Tennessee National Guard Youth Program.  Our goal is to raise $4000.00.\nYou can:\n\nMake a contribution by credit card or\nMake a check payable to TNNG Youth Program and mail to:\n\nNashville Republican Women\nPat Denson\n320 11th Avenue South\, Apt 470\nNashville\, TN 37201\n  \n \n Donate $25.00\n \n Donate $50.00\n \n Donate $75.00\n \n Donate $100.00

SUMMARY:NRW November Luncheon
DESCRIPTION:RESERVATION DEADLINE IS Monday at Noon\, November 2nd\n\nCongressman Matt Van Epps\n\nMatt Van Epps is a Member of the United States House of Representatives\, sworn into Congress on December 4 following a special election to serve Tennessee’s 7th Congressional District. A combat-tested military officer\, national security leader\, and public-sector executive\, Congressman Matt Van Epps’ career has been defined by service\, disciplined leadership\, and results. A graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point and a proud member of the Class of 9/11\, Congressman Van Epps served ten years on active duty as an Army aviator\, deploying to Iraq and Afghanistan. He flew and commanded missions in both the AH-64D Apache and the MH-47G Chinook\, serving with the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (Airborne) as a pilot-in-command and air mission commander.
