The NRW Caring For America committee would like to remind you that we are collecting items for the Military Mothers Baby Shower. The drop off will be at Hillwood Country Club before we start our May 10th meeting!<\/strong><\/div>\n

Schranda Murdock, Assistant Chief of the Veterans Administration Center for Development and Civic Engagement, spoke at the April meeting inviting Nashville Republican Women to participate in a BABY SHOWER for expecting Military Mothers. The Tennessee Valley Healthcare System is hosting this event at the Clarksville VA Clinic in the afternoon from 3:00\u20135:00 pm on May 10. We are encouraging all NRW members to participate and bring your items to the meeting on May 10.<\/div>\n

Schrandra will be picking them up at the front door of Hillwood Country Club by 11:15 a.m. Please drive up and drop off your items. <\/strong>Committee members, Jane, Carlotta, and Marita will be there to collect them. If you cannot attend and would like to contribute please call or text Mary Obersteadt, 615-598-3843 or Carolyn Amiot, 615-400-4066.<\/div>\n

Suggested items are:<\/strong> Activity Play Mats, Breast Pumps, Baby Monitors, Disposable Diapers (Newborn \u2013 3 Preferred sizes), Baby Wipes, Baby Travel Kits, Baby First Aid Kits, Digital Thermometers, spoons, bibs, bottles, blankets, onesies, sleepers, hats, socks, tethers, infant toys, books, bathtubs, wash cloths, towels, bath toys, wrap or sling baby carriers.<\/div>\n

Monetary gifts can be made payable to The Center for Development and Civic Engagement (CDCE) and designate \u201cfor Women Veterans Health Program and tax exemption.\u201d<\/strong><\/div>\n
